Jan 1992 Circular Quay - Festival of Sydney

A 10 channel linear soundscape installed under the apex of the old walkway covering to the Opera House in Circular Quay.

The soundscape was made up of re-constructed sounds recorded mainly in the Whian Whian State Forest in northern NSW. The sounds were then embellished with samples of operas that were in session at the house. The installation played daytime and in the evening, allowing various moods and aural situations to evolve.
